.... from interviews with Stephan Klaus

What is your conception of man?

I see human life as one of innumerable possibilities of existence. We do live in a continuum of space and time, but since our senses are limited to certain frequencies, we can only perceive part of the spectrum. When we are dreaming, this is different. Our conscience slips into intermediate realms and may sometimes get in touch with a different reality.

It is due to the limited frequency range of human perception that there is normally no certain answer to elementary questions such as “Is there a life after death?“, “ What is the sense of all that?“ or “Does God exist?”.

This means that, seen spiritually, man is a handicapped creature, for his evolutionary status keeps him in uncertainty. In other words, he is left alone by creation as to the question for a future after this life, and moreover, he does not get answers as to the sense of his actual existence.

In the extreme case, the result is a materialistic conception of being - often painfully corrected by life, or a system of belief. Experience with different realities allowed me to develop a somewhat extended image of man. According to my philosophy, men are constantly evolving beings. In the course of evolution, we pass through many levels of being, in order to make experiences. In spiritual terms, we evolve from a caterpillar into a butterfly. And we are so infinitely much more than our physical body.

Which conception of the world follows from these ideas?

Well, certainly a multidimensional one, a conception of worlds. And in this conception, the planet earth and the journey which we can make as individuals on this planet plays an important but rather moderate part compared to what else awaits us. I would like to mention first that I love our mother earth in her full beauty and that I perceive her as an awesome form of conscience and intelligence. She is really alive.

And I am not a romantic dreaming of the other world. I like it here. Nevertheless, the earthly existence is rather limited compared to our true potential. Although I wouldn’t go as far as Nostradamus who called the earth the place of the stranded, I think that, as long as we are here, we are rather far away of our possibilities.

Does this mean you are a representative of the esoteric wave?

Spiritual healing existed long before the esoteric wave. Like Reiki, spiritual healing was rediscovered in the course of this movement seeking alternative and complementary ways of healing.

I am not a representative of the esoteric wave. But, apropos esoteric wave: we doubtlessly find a lot of rubbish apart from true treasures in this “wave“ which has been going on since nearly thirty years now. And we should always keep in mind that many of the people in the esoteric scene are in search of spiritual evolution. Due to their searching, they do not stop evolving, as many of their critics do.

Which is your relationship to classical medicine?

A  relaxed one and I actually use it, whenever I need to. In particular, I am full of admiration for the immense progress of repairing surgery. As a spiritual healer, my continuous intention is to cooperate with classical medicine, for I see the future in the synthesis of knowledge.

My vision is the English model, where spiritual healers in cooperation with physicians have an important part in the care of our patients.

However, I don’t fail to see the dark sides of classical medicine. The fact that, e.g. in the Federal Republic, an annual death rate of more than 16 000 is due to the side effects of medication or that, for instance, according to a recent study made by the Federal Council of Switzerland, every third hysterectomy is unnecessary actually causes me to ponder before the background of all those discussions about charlatanry in spiritual healing.

Classical medicine treats illnesses, spiritual healing treats human beings. Unfortunately, positive approaches such as neuropsychoimmunology are still given too little importance in the oncology concepts of many hospitals. And, mainly related to cancer, classical medicine plays rather a special part. Often the last one in the life of a human being, if you think that, every year about 800000 patients in Germany are lost to cancer.

How do you deal with death?

I consider this world as a big hotel and since my childhood, I am amazed about those who install themselves as if they would stay forever. I have come to an agreement with death. Reflection about the finite nature of our physical existence is not at all a morbid business. The ancient Tibetan schools, for instance, have always pointed out that true joy of living is not possible without having reflected and come to terms with the finite nature of our existence here. I would fully agree with this conclusion which, at first glance, may be awkward and frightening for many people.

We have gained mastery in suppressing our nature. In this respect, every animal is in a better position than we are, because an animal is not caught unexpectedly by death, simply because, for an animal, death is a continuous, perceivable reality. This does not mean animals are not afraid of death. But they aren’t hit as humans are, when death is coming.

Actually, death is nothing else than a transition and, believe it nor not, many of us even fail to notice that they have died. Normally, death is dreadful only for the bereaved.

If you say a conception of worlds, life after death is probably an implication. But what do you think about reincarnation, an idea which has been accompanying mankind since such a long time?

All of us have lived more than one life on mother earth. In our recent time there are so much wonderful possibilities of getting knowledge about our past, such as reincarnation therapy, hypnotic regression and others. A lot of good therapists work in this field and everybody can convince himself what happens if we agree to be taken back and look at our former lives. This is rather a healing experience, because the mechanical attitude of starting into life every morning is due to the fact that being in a physical body has become a habit for us over many many lives on earth. Many things have turned into automatisms and we simply have stopped wondering. Because: death rather than the wonder of life here seems an exception to us.

Whether we reincarnate in flesh and blood isn’t actually the question. It happens automatically. The point is: some manage to evade the circle of birth and death. This, however, does not happen automatically. For this, spiritual awakening is a prerequisite. In this respect, sorrow has a spiritual wakening function. When we suffer severe losses and injuries, our first question is mostly “why?” and “why me?” .

In such a moment, something very important happens inside us. The seed of asking questions was sown. We quarrel with God and our fate. This "why" also implies the question: "what is it all good for?" The solution cannot be found by the intellect. The mysteries of life can’t be solved intellectually. But the inner seed is growing and initiates a process which wants to enable the conscience to develop an attitude towards life which is in accordance with our essential nature. Normally, this process extends over several incarnations, for it is a process of reestablishment and remembrance.

Why don’t want humans to be reborn?

Because in some way, we all feel that the limitations of a physical body is not our true, enduring existence. Our dreams, our hopes, our wishes, our love last longer than our physical existence. Moreover, things also risk working themselves out. Reappearing in a body over and over again may lead to a point where the failure of new experiences becomes restricting. In this case, new dimensions are interesting and important for further evolution.

You have written that spirit healing also means providing a link between this world and another dimension. Why do we have to do that? Can’t God hear us without spiritual healing, or don’t the helpful beings perceive us, when we are ill?

Of course they do and being forsaken by God would mean having stopped being part of creation, i.e. not being at all. It is rather the form of communication and the energy which is brought into action. Creation implies many other laws in addition to those which mankind can understand today. In the natural religions, it’s the shaman who has a better knowledge of the “other world“ and who makes the journey for the patient. With spiritual healing, it is mediality which permits mediation between dimensions

I gratefully appreciate the fact that spiritual healing functions and can be used to alleviate suffering and to heal illnesses. As human beings, we are dependent each other from the very beginning. Nothing is possible without another being which gives birth to us and secures our survival. In the further course of our life, we are also dependent on each other, although in a less obvious way. Seen in this context, spiritual healing is something very natural. Somebody else does something for me.

When I ask for help for other people, I am much more quiet than my help-seeking patients, who often contact me in serious situations and despair. When you are quiet, you can reach different “frequencies“, different vibration.
